VGMETROLOGY Training

Master measurement workflows with confidence
This instructor-led virtual classroom training enables metrologists to confidently use VGMETROLOGY for complex measurement tasks.
Over four half-day live online sessions, participants learn key features, workflows, and best practices for implementing measurement plans efficiently, generating reliable results, and interpreting them correctly.
Target group:

The training is suitable for both new users who want to build a solid foundation and experienced users who would like to refresh their knowledge.

Content 

This training covers the most important functions and workflows of VGMETROLOGY, including:

  • User interface
  • Navigation and visualisation
  • Alignment
  • Nominal/actual comparison
  • Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Reporting and sharing results
  • Automation
     

In addition, participants receive 90 days of access to our e-learning platform after the training. The e-learning covers further topics and advanced functionalities, including wall thickness analysis and other application-specific workflows that complement the virtual classroom training.

 

Requirements
  • Access to a computer with VGMETROLOGY installed and ready to use
  • A stable internet connection for participation in the live online sessions
  • First experience with VGMETROLOGY is beneficial but not mandatory

 

 

Additional requirements for e-learning:

  • A system that meets the regular system requirements for running VGSTUDIO MAX
  • Dual screen setup for running VGSTUDIO MAX on one screen while watching the learning content on the other screen
  • A minimum of 8 GB RAM, recommended is 16 GB RAM
  • 3-button mouse with scroll wheel
  • Depending on the environment, a headset/headphones may be useful
  • Stable internet connection (min. 5 mbps download, min. 0.5 mbps upload; recommended: 10 mbps download, 1 mbps upload)

EUR 1,400 per person for courses conducted by VG Academy Germany
