This classroom training is designed for anyone who wants to gain hands-on experience with the powerful analysis capabilities of VGSTUDIO MAX Analyse.
Learn how to evaluate material properties and complex structures using proven best-practice workflows tailored to your inspection and analysis tasks.

This training is intended for anyone using VGSTUDIO MAX Analyse, from beginners seeking a solid foundation to experienced users looking to refresh their expertise.

Content

In addition to the fundamentals of visualisation, segmentation, alignment, and reporting, the classroom training covers:

  • Basic GD&T
  • Nominal/actual comparison
  • Wall thickness analysis
  • Porosity/inclusion analysis
  • Fiber composite material analysis
  • Digital volume correlation
  • Automation workflows

 

The training combines theory and practical exercises using selected training data provided by VG Academy.

 

After completing the classroom training, participants receive 90 days of access to the e-learning materials, allowing them to explore additional topics such as foam/powder analysis and volume meshing, as well as revisit and deepen their understanding of the topics covered during the training as needed.

 

 

Duration, language, and pricing

Duration

The duration of this classroom training is four days.

 

Training hours: 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, including lunch and coffee breaks.

Courses starting on Monday at 1:00 pm finish on Friday at approximately midday.

Courses starting on Tuesday at 9:00 am finish on Friday at approximately 4:30 pm.

 

Language

This training is available in German, English, and French.

 

Pricing

The price includes the training course, complimentary access to the learning platform, training materials, and a certificate.

 

EUR 2,300 per person for courses conducted by VG Academy Germany (plus VAT)

EUR 2,100 per person for courses conducted by VG Academy Singapore (plus GST)

USD 4,510 per person for courses conducted by VG Academy USA (plus VAT, if applicable)

 

Training concept and e-learning access 

Training concept

Our classroom training courses share a common curriculum during the first three days, covering the core workflows of VGSTUDIO MAX such as segmentation, alignment, surface determination, wall thickness analysis, nominal/actual comparison, basic GD&T, reporting, and automation.
 

During the last day, the training focuses on features and workflows that are specific to the selected software edition:

  • VGSTUDIO MAX Analyse Training:
    Porosity/inclusion analysis, fiber composite material analysis, introduction to digital volume correlation
  • VGSTUDIO MAX Dimensions Training:
    Advanced GD&T, multipart functionality, manufacturing geometry correction, and fixture simulation
  • VGSTUDIO MAX Battery Training:
    Porosity/inclusion analysis, battery analysis, and fiber composite material analysis

 

Since these three training courses share most of their content, participants can often attend course dates intended for a different software edition. The included 90-day e-learning access enables participants to review the classroom content and explore additional topics, such as CT reconstruction, foam/powder analysis, volume meshing, and reverse engineering.

 

E-learning access

After completing the classroom training, you will have 90 days access to the e-learning materials of the VGSTUDIO MAX Power Training, including slides, videos, and practical exercises, allowing you to review content or explore additional topics. Live expert-led sessions are also available to address your questions.

Admission requirements

To make the most of your training, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the software basics before you attend the training.

 

Our Starter Package provides short, self-paced learning units covering the most important topics for getting started with the software.

 

Additional requirements for e-learning:

  • A system that meets the regular system requirements for running VGSTUDIO MAX
  • Dual screen setup for running VGSTUDIO MAX on one screen while watching the learning content on the other screen
  • A minimum of 8 GB RAM, recommended is 16 GB RAM
  • 3-button mouse with scroll wheel
  • Depending on the environment, a headset/headphones may be useful
  • Stable internet connection (min. 5 mbps download, min. 0.5 mbps upload; recommended: 10 mbps download, 1 mbps upload)
